Skye Music Festival We went to the Skye Music Festival in Jume 06. We travelled on the Friday afternoon, us 5 students with Gill, Geoff and Helen. Later that day Rachel and Leanne joined us. The music was good, the camping was fun, but our camping neighbours were rather loud. But we gave them a run for their money especially when we came back from the gigs at night. We went to Broadford on the Saturday afternoon did some shopping and went for lunch. There was a free bus organised. When we got back we played the 'shopping game' which was so much fun. Gill got her words mixed up and we were all laughing for ages. We had deck chairs with us that Rachel had borrowed from her mum without asking! And when we came back to the campsite on the Friday night, one of them had gone missing. Apart from that, the weather, the midgies, the leaky tents, the broken sleeping bags and the bust blow-up beds, it was a really good weekend! By Nola |
